That’s why we created Recipe Round Up Sundays in our Facebook group. It’s a simple, supportive space to share your favorite tried-and-true recipes and pick up fresh ideas from other educators who are right there with you.

Looking for a spring break activity that keeps students thinking, imagining, and writing while still feeling like fun? This Mini Porch Goose Adventure is the perfect mix of creativity and learning.
Before break begins, give each student a mini porch goose to take on their adventures. You can purchase a package of 30 mini geese for under $10, making this an easy and affordable activity for the whole class.

Here is how it works:

Each student takes a mini goose home for spring break.
Their goose becomes their tiny travel buddy. -
Students complete the pages in the booklet.
They will draw, write, and describe what their goose did during break. -
Encourage imagination.
Maybe the goose went to the park, watched a movie, baked cookies, or visited grandma. The sillier and more creative the adventure, the better. -
Bring the booklet back after break.
Students can share their goose adventures with the class.
This activity helps students practice:
